What is the Kids' Activity Center?
The Kids’ Activity Center is the only site where parents can find all the activities that are available to children of all ages. Whether you’re looking for travel teams, camps, lessons, tutoring, day trips, pre-schools, help with college admission, you’ll find them all here.
Is there a cost to use the site as a parent or visitor?
No. Parents can search the site for free. You don’t even have to put in any information to use the site. Kids’ Activity Center makes money when the providers post their activities.
Do I need to create an account to browse activities?
You do not need to create an account to browse the activities. If you’d like to create an account, you can save searches and get updates, but otherwise, feel free to look around all you want.
How do I contact the Kids Activity Center team?
You can contact us at info@kidsactivitycenter.com. We’d love to hear your suggestions on how to improve the site.
What can I do if I think a post is inappropriate?
Please report it. Click the “Report Post” button at the bottom of the post. Please give us a brief description on why this post is being reported and Kids’ Activity Center administrators will look into it.
For Business Providers
How do I create an account as a provider?
The icon to create an account is in the top right corner of the homepage. You’ll enter your email and create a password. From there, you’ll fill in the fields for whatever information is pertinent: your name, address, website (if applicable), etc.
What information do I need to submit an activity listing?
Posting your activity is quick and easy and can be done in as little as a few minutes.
Fields that have a star are required.
A few things to note:
- Featured Image – You have to submit a picture for your listing. Please make sure it is horizontal/landscape and it has to be a .jpg or .png file that is less than 5MB.
- The Categories of Interest – These act as filters when parents search for activities. You want to be accurate and inclusive to ensure your activity is found. You can select as many categories as you’d like. Categories that have a [+] have even more sub categories. Click on the [+] to expand the drop down menu. Click the [-] to collapse the drop down menu.
- Date and Time – The Date and Time should be left blank if your activity is ongoing. The Date and Time are mainly for activities that have a specific time frame like a tournament on a particular weekend or a concert in a park on a Saturday from 1-4.
- Duration – This is how long your post will be active. The duration starts as soon as the post goes live on the Kids’ Activity Center website.
- Promo Code – Enter your promo code to receive a discount on the posting fee.
Can I post multiple events or activities?
Yes. Providers can post as many events or activities as they’d like.
How much does it cost to post an activity?
The cost depends on the posting duration and can be less than $1 per day.
- 30 Days = $60 ($2.00/day)
- 90 Days = $150 ($1.67/day)
- 180 Days = $200 ($1.11/day)
- 365 Days = $300 ($0.82/day)
How long will my post stay active?
Posts stay active based on the posting duration that was initially chosen (30, 90, 180, or 365 days). The posting duration begins as soon as the post goes live on the Kids’ Activity Center website and will automatically expire at the end of the posting duration.
Can I edit or update my activity after it’s posted?
Yes. You can edit or update your posts as many times as you like during the posting duration. To edit or update your posts, click on your account in the upper right corner of the webpage and then click on “View My Posts”.
How do I hide or delete a listing?
You can activate and deactivate a post as many times as you’d like during the posting duration.
Why would you do that?
Let’s say you create a year long post to provide lessons, but after a month you’re completely booked up and can’t take any more students. Rather than getting phone calls that you have to turn away, you can hide your post from view. A few months later when space opens up, you can “unhide” the post so it is visible on the Kids’ Activity Center again.
Please note: The posting duration does not change if you hide a post. For example, if you create a 365 day post on January 1 and then hide it for 2 months, this post still expires on December 31st.
Will my post be reviewed before it goes live?
Posts will be reviewed before they go live on the Kids’ Activity Center Website and will typically be done within a business day.
Account & Technical Support
I forgot my password. How can I reset it?
If you’ve forgotten your password, you can easily reset it by visiting the login page and clicking “Lost your password?”. Enter your email address, and you’ll receive a link to create a new password.
Can I change the email address associated with my account?
Yes. Click on your account in the upper right corner of the page. You can change your email address in your profile.
I’m having trouble uploading photos. What should I do?
If your image isn’t uploading, please make sure it meets the following requirements:
- Format: JPG, JPEG, or PNG
- Orientation: Wide (landscape)
- Maximum Width: 1200px
Ensuring your image meets these guidelines should resolve most upload issues.
How do I update my contact details or business information?
You can change your profile information by clicking on your account in the upper right corner of the page. To update the information in a post, you have to edit the post by clicking on your account, then clicking on “View my Posts” and then click on whichever posts you want to edit.
